Well my name is Laura im a pretty fun girl to be around im not shy at all unless i do it on purpose, but other than that come talk to me if u wanna get to know me.

Not a whole lot to say...I'm a pretty laid-back, down to earth guy, with typical guy interests! My friends would say I've got a great sense of humor, easy-going, and always willing to help someone out.

Ladies ... I'm seeking a discrete loving relationship that isn't dead to passion and bound by routine. Having considered it long and hard, I don't think we were ever supposed to live long enough outlast the passion of the relationship that produced our children. Okay. Let me tell you about the time I almost got my head cut off.

My gang of 12 year olds, when I wan 12 years old, were a bunch of BMX riders, and I was the nerdy know-it-all that road a Schwinn Cruiser (well before the beach bums). And we were riding down the San Gabriel river to an abandoned lot that had large pile of dirt perfect for BMXing. Zip zip zip through the fence all the lads went, and here I go...

I fly off my bike. It continues forward, possessed.

I grab my head to see if it's still connected. And as you can tell from these words, it was. Next... gasp! I force air through my swollen throat and heave as much as I can in there. The shock brought some tears, but because of the nature of the accident I was not chided by my compatriots. Closer inspection revealed that I had missed seeing the rusted steel cable that connected the two sides of the fence. I thought it was an unobstructed opening. As it turns it was only obstructed by 3/8th of inch floating in the air. Neck level. I took a few moments to recover, but eventually joined the chaps performing loop-de-loops upon the packed soil.

Later when I returned home, looking in the mirror, I found that I have smashed down my not quite budding Adam's apple and had a nice abrasion where it used to be. Also I had a large bruisy welt in the shape of the hang-man's rope. As if I'd been to a hanging that didn't take. For a crime I hadn't done.

Man, I think I was too serious the first time I filled this part out. Looking over what I wrote the first time, I noticed it was too damn gloomy and I found I depressed even myself.

Now that I got that off my chest, I'll actually say something quasi-meaningful. "Don't take this place seriously". Oh damn, I'm supposed to be talking about ME here... Hrmm...

Well, I try to have a sense of humor. I poke fun of most people and things, including myself. I sing KARAOKE regularly in public and I have no sense of shame about it whatsoever. I used to game (with RPG's) and LARP, but eucchhh... *shivers* some of those people SCARE me. I like nerdy and geeky things like: Star Trek, Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, and Comic Books/Manga/Anime. But I also indulge in such Uber-Manly and Macho activities like: going out to bars with "the guys", discharging firearms for absolutely no good reason at all, misogyny for fun and profit, drooling over big and expensive TOYS, reading Maxim magazine and smirking at the girls who are stuck with Cosmo, showing off my instinctive and genetically instilled skills with VCR's and other technological doodads, pretending I know how to use Power Tools and fix things (especially when my female roomates are watching), and generally making a sarcastic nuisance of myself.

I'm really a nice guy though, which translates to "I have absolutely no emotional threat value as a male whatsoever, so I make a cool "guy-friend". I have even been made an honorary "chick" on occassions for my female roommate's "chick-flick nights" and other female oriented outings.

I'm your typical but untypical southern californian asian girl who was born and raised in the UK, went to a british private school, came back to LA for the teen years, and went back to UK for most of my 20's (if you're wondering about my accent - its mostly american). Now I'm back in LA and I can't decide whether I love it or hate it but the feeling is usually based on how much traffic I'm stuck in or how much smog is in my face. I work in marketing/media but my true passion is in photography.

I like to have good heart to heart talks, people watch at a coffee shop, go on adventures and roadtrips, listen to some great music, watch a good film, laugh at silly things, and have good hugs. I think hugs are by far the greatest thing in the world. (also, unicorns)

Well... i guess I'm the open minded type because there isn't much i don't eventually get around to. Sometimes it's gotten me into a bit of trouble, but for the most part i think it's helped make me a pretty well rounded guy, and I'm happy with how I've turned out so far.

I can be a bit of an adrenaline addict at times, and I love to go snowboarding, fishing, to the batting cages, swimming or to play other sports, dancing, partying, camping, and sometimes just driving around aimlessly, but there's also the side of me that sometimes just wants to slow down and enjoy the simple things in life, like... art, romance, movies, and music.

I'm passionate, dedicated, easygoing, and i actually have a set of morals so don't be surprised to find i have my own opinion on things. I enjoy life for what it is and i experience as much of it as i can, when i can. I live life for the moment, but I'm always doing whatever it takes to make a good future for myself. I know when to mind my own business, but I'm also not afraid to stand up for myself or others when the time is right.

-When i fall for a girl i lay everything i have on the line for her, so as long as she doesn't take advantage of it, I'll continue to leave the world at her feet, and the fire in her eyes.

Then again, I've always found that actively seeking is the best way to never find it, the best relationships happen when you're not looking for them. Hey there! I am a 25 year old teacher from Southern California. I love living here and would hate to move away from the area. (Who wouldnt want to live 20 minutes from the beach and an hour from the mountains) I love having a good time, which includes everything from going out with friends to a bar/club, going to the beach, camping, travelling, and even stayin home with a movie. I love going to Big Bear, Pismo, and Glamis. I also love to go to Vegas and Laughlin. I love to go 4-wheeling, quad and dirt bike riding (even though im not as good as I want to be), as well as going in the boat or ski-dos. I love watching dirt-bike racing at perris speedway or star west. One of my goals this year/this winter is to learn to snowboard in the local mountains. I like to go to gaslamp in Long Beach where there is an awesome 80s and 90s band. I love to do anything as long as I'm having fun. I am easily amused and not hard to please. I love to take pictures and watch sunsets. I love music of all kinds, especially country and 80s music. I am a big USC fan and an even bigger ANGELS fan. I like to go to Angel games, Disneyland, and concerts. I tend to be shy until you get to know me, and i love to try new things.
