Artesia New Mexico Restaurants
The New Mexico Supreme Court granted an emergency order Monday afternoon seeking the stay of a lower court order. The stay was granted by Chief Justice Michael Vigil by a 2-1 vote in favor of the state's request for stay. On Thursday, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced that the state of New Mexico will reclassify high-contact areas where face coverings are not considered "high risk" for exposure to the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (COVID) as a "high risk zone" to slow the growing spread of CO VID in 19 states. A new public health emergency order, which states are required to renew, will take effect on Monday, July 13.
The governor also warned New Mexicans that unless the trend is reversed and the spread of COVID to 19 begins slowly, it will not be possible to implement the state's plan to reopen schools in August. Getting this virus under control means that we can reopen school in the autumn, get the children back to school and reunite families with their relatives in care homes. What we have learned from the increase in CO VID and 19 cases in our state is that we must do everything together to contain the virus and really give ourselves the opportunity to get on with our lives. Whether it is about reopening our shops or whether it is preventing more illnesses, hospitalizations and deaths in that state, we need to eliminate as much risk as possible.
We know that coronavirus is transmitted through human contact and we will not wait for rising cases to translate into rising hospitalisations and deaths in our neighbouring countries. So if we want our economy to recover, we need to protect ourselves and save more than 33,000 lives. The best way to look after ourselves, our families and the economy is to remain vigilant and take the steps necessary to protect all New Mexicans, including workers, customers and restaurants. We will continue to care for you all as long as we take the time and effort to protect ourselves and the health and well-being of the New Mexico community by caring for each other.
As we have said many times during pandemics, we will wait for the worst before making tough decisions. Too many of us gather in our restaurants, risking our own lives and endangering the health and well-being of our employees, our customers and our community in New Mexico.
In much of southeastern New Mexico, the scrub - the brushed topography - is very similar to western Texas, and then there are the large, old bronze statues depicting cowboys and oil drillers, images often associated with the Lone Star State. The state's decision to stop enforcing the indoor food ban comes despite the fact that the state of New Mexico has not filed a lawsuit against the Texas Department of Health and Human Services or any of its employees. In a petition to the state Supreme Court, the governor's office argues that a Supreme Court must intervene to allow the State Department to enforce the state's "state of emergency" health care law. The lawsuit also argues that the governors do not have the authority to enforce the order, and that businesses would cease trading if they were not allowed to eat indoors.
I learned that my favourite way to taste the meat side was to run out of the restaurant before I got there, so I didn't forget early. Henry uses a dry scrub with several ingredients on his meat, and the scrub is particularly noticeable on the chicken, which has a nice moisture and just a hint of smoke. The sauce is not spread before, during or after smoking, but only afterwards.
Henry's chopped rib cage hairstyle is pretty good, though I'd just cut the Mona Lisa. Of course, the question is whether you can have a sweet, crusty bark called rind and still penetrate the sweet beef flavor of the king of briskets.
On the other hand, I've enjoyed enough of Henry's barbecue to warrant an "A" on an A to Z scale.
